Akasaka 6-chome project

The narrow frontage and wide depth of the site shape made the design particular to the road. The double-skin external wall is intended to create a sense of presence as a plane. The double skin is made of stainless-coloured aluminium latticework. The spacing and depth of the latticework is changed on each floor to express a 'sharpness' with a 'gentle and gentle' feel. At night, the latticework is lit up to incorporate the liveliness and glamour of a town of merchants that has been around since the Edo period into the design.
