House in Yahiro
2015
This is a fireproof wooden structure in a fire protection zone. As fire-resistant specifications have become more abundant, fire-resistant wooden structures are becoming more common these days. There is also the advantage of reducing the load by building a wooden structure. In combination with ground improvement in areas where the ground is loose, such as Sumida Ward, this structure has the effect of reducing unequal settlement. With the image of a simple box, we aimed to create an expansive space in a narrow space.
